Why Trenton Is Closing

For 51 years, our Trenton shelter has provided second chances to thousands of animals. But today, the building is no longer safe—flooding, overcrowding, and failing infrastructure have made it unsustainable.

We’re moving every animal to the Laurie P. Andrews Center, where they’ll have access to clean, climate-controlled space, and a real chance at recovery.

But we can’t do it without you. Learn more about why Trenton is closing.

Donate Today & Save a Life Tomorrow

Every gift helps us give vulnerable animals the care, shelter, and second chances they deserve. Your support powers this transition from Trenton to a safer future—and ensures that no animal gets left behind.

Adopt or Foster a Pet

We need to reduce the number of animals in our care as we prepare to move. Adopting or fostering, even temporarily, helps us make space and ease the burden on our team.
