For 51 years, our Trenton shelter has been the place where thousands of second chances began. Thanks to your support, generations of pets left Trenton for loving homes.
But today, Trenton is no longer a safe place for animals. Flooding, overcrowding, and failing infrastructure have made it unsustainable. After decades of service, it’s time to close its doors.
That’s why we’re moving every animal to the Laurie P. Andrews Center. At LPA, pets will finally have access to clean, climate-controlled spaces, outdoor play yards, and resources built to help them thrive.
This transition is a turning point not just for Palm Valley Animal Society, but for the entire Rio Grande Valley. And it’s only possible because of people like you. Every adoption, every gift, every hour volunteered has helped us get here.
Your support continues to fuel our mission. Together, we’re building a safer, stronger future for homeless pets.
We still need your support—find out what you can do below.
