Lost a Pet

Losing a pet is a traumatic experience! The best way to find your pet, however, is to act quickly. If your pet was lost in or near our service area…

  • Visit our Trenton Center Facility to look for your pet in-person. More than 21,000 animals pass through our doors each year, so it’s important to visit regularly if your pet is missing. We’re open 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

WHAT YOU NEED TO RECLAIM YOUR PET (one of the following)

  • Proof of address (ex. utility bill, an ID, a piece of mail)

  • Pictures of your pet

NOTE: Due to the high number of animals that enter our facilities every day our staff will not be able to find your lost pet over the phone or by email or Facebook message. You will be able to identify your pet much faster than we will; come down and see us!

Check with Animal Control

Animal Control Officers document the animals they collect. If you believe your pet was collected by mistake, be sure to contact your local Animal Control department. Be sure to provide your address and description of your pet to help identify your pet.
