PVAS RESCUE + TRANSPORT PROGRAM
The PVAS Rescue/Transport program transfers animals to organizations throughout Texas and the USA. Rescue/transport saves lives. On average, we send out more than 5,000 pets every year to partner rescues and shelters across the United States and Canada.

Application to Become a Rescue Partner
Become a Rescue Sponsor

You can help our rescue/transport program by sponsoring a rescue/transport run or making a general donation. We do not accept rescue/transport donations for individual animals. Transported cats and dogs are medically and behaviorally screened, and each rescue/transport partner organization is provided documentation for each animal.

Sponsoring a rescue/transport run helps us continue to provide a care and support needed to make lifesaving rescue/transport outcomes possible. Each pet costs $160 to transport: donate here.

Join the Rescue Team

To join our Rescue Team by becoming a volunteer, you must first complete the Volunteer Registration Process here: pvastx.org/volunteer
Rescue Drivers must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Rescue Grooming must contact the Volunteer Program at volunteer@pvastx.org for details.
