Palm Valley Animal Society has taken in approximately 54 dogs from a recent hoarding case—at the same time we are preparing to close our Trenton shelter location.
Taking in this many animals at once puts a significant strain on our shelter’s space, supplies, and staff. With the Trenton facility scheduled to close in the coming weeks, that strain is only going to grow.
We are asking the community to step up in a big way.

This is not just another intake—this is a crisis. We're calling on adopters and fosters to help us open up kennels and keep lives safe.
Adopting gets a pet into a forever home and opens space for the next one who needs help.
Fostering is completely free—we provide the food, medicine, and supplies. You provide the love.
Donating allows us to keep responding to emergencies like this and care for every animal that comes through our doors.
