Bringing Holiday Hope: Palm Valley Animal Society Partners with BISSELL Pet Foundation
The season of giving has arrived, and Palm Valley Animal Society is delighted to announce its partnership with BISSELL Pet Foundation for the "Empty the Shelters – Holiday Hope" adoption event! Running from December 1 to December 17, this nationwide initiative spans 380+ shelters across 43 states, with the goal of reducing adoption fees to $50 or less per cat or dog.
Event Details
Palm Valley Animal Society is hosting the event at its two locations, Trenton Center: 2501 W Trenton Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539, and Laurie P. Andrews Center: 2451 N Expressway 281, Edinburg, TX 78541. The shelter is offering fee-waived adoptions for adult cats and dogs and an incredible 50% discount, with puppies available for $50 and kittens for $25.
Cathy Bissell, Founder of BISSELL Pet Foundation, underlines the urgency of addressing the current shelter crisis: "Our nation's animal shelters need your help as they face an overcrowding crisis unlike anything we have experienced in more than a decade. The devastating increase in owner surrenders and stray intakes has left tens of thousands of deserving pets desperate to find a home. Our 'Empty the Shelters – Holiday Hope' event is the perfect opportunity to make a difference in your community by saving a life and creating space to give another homeless pet a chance this holiday season."
